Day 1: Transfer to the Amazon Ecopark Lodge, to your
arrival, enjoy a welcome juice and presentation of the hostel.
During your stay, choose from
activities below: the schedule of the activities/tours will be
coordinated by the local operations department and informed upon arrival.
TOUR TO THE "MEETING OF THE
WATERS"
(only available for passengers with
pick up - hotels or airport - until 08:30 hours).
Departure to ECOPARK aboard a
regional double-decker boat. The ship descends the Negro River, sailing along
along the coast of the city of Manaus, which allows passengers to see the
Amazonas Theater, the Port of Manaus, Customs and the interesting aspects of
local life, like the stilt houses, for example. Arrival at "The Meeting of
Las Aguas" at 11:30 a.m.
It is a spectacular fusion of the
Negro and Solimões rivers. From this point, both rivers form the famous river
Amazon that reaches the Atlantic Ocean. The waters of the two rivers run
together for about 12 km, side by side, without mixing. The phenomenon occurs
due to the differences in temperature, density and speed of the waters of
the rivers.
Optional lunch will be served at
a typical restaurant (rustic but clean restaurant with buffet style,
international and regional dishes). Duration: 8 to 9 hours.
NATURE WALK
Biodiversity is the main
ECOPARK feature. Includes unlisted species in rainforests
virgins, natural savannahs and streams. There are also several
streams of crystal clear and temperate waters. During the tour, the guide will guide,
educating about the local flora and fauna, how and where to find fruits
groceries and drinking water, first aid, how to walk in the forest and
much more. Duration: 1 to 3 hours (depending on the health conditions of
participants).
MONKEY FOREST
The facilities for the
rehabilitation and reintroduction of wild animals in their habitat (known
as a monkey forest), was created in 1991 with the intention of receiving animals
that have been seized from illegal trade. This is a joint project
with the Municipal Secretary of Environment and Sustainability. In this
center, the animals are initially placed in quarantine to be evaluated
and cared for by a team of veterinarians and biologists. In association with FFV
(Live Forest Foundation), a non-profit institution supervised by
Amazon Ecopark Lodge, a unique feeding system has been developed. Two
times a day (10:30 and 15:30), the animals receive supplements from their diet
naturally, ensuring that they are being fed with the necessary nutrients.
The Monkey Forest is open
guests at feeding times, always accompanied by a
accredited professional, allowing guests to film and photograph
these animals in a natural and safe environment. Eventually, the monkeys can
not appear; there are factors in nature (breeding season, strong
rains) that can interfere with the presence of monkeys. Duration: 40 minutes
to 1 hour.
IMPORTANT! Twice a year, the
monkeys move away for 2-3 weeks to travel through the forest and mark their
land. During this period, it will not be possible to see the monkeys, only those that
are in quarantine.

Leave the lodge in a boat or
motorized canoe, accompanied by a bilingual guide to learn about the traditions
and customs of local Amazonians ("natives").

FISHING TRIP

motorized or rowing, accompanied by a bilingual guide. (Piranha fishing and

NIGHT CANOE TOUR
Leave the lodge in paddle canoes
or motorized to appreciate the sounds of the jungle at night, with the

alligators are seen because their eyes glow like little red lights. Once
the focus of the guide locates the alligator, he will try to catch a small alligator with his
own hands and will lead you to the canoe, and follows a brief explanation of your
habitat. The alligator will then be safely released back into the river. (No
no harm is done to any of the animals). Duration: about 1 hour.

"high water level" (from April to August) and on moonlit nights
Crowded, it can be hard to find alligators.
